    • Some LabelWriter printers manufactured after April 1, 2014 will not properly install on Windows® 7 PCs when attached to a USB 3.0 port. DYMO has developed an update that will fix this problem on these printers. For assistance, please click here to determine if you have an affected machine and install the fix or call DYMO Customer Service Support at 442035648354.     • What versions of Mac OS X is CardScan supported on?

      CardScan Executive is supported on Mac OS X 10.8 “Mountain Lion” through OS X 10.10 “Yosemite”. Currently, OS X 10.11 “El Capitan” is not compatible with DYMO CardScan business card scanners. DYMO is working with Apple to resolve the incompatibility, but until a resolution can be found, do not upgrade to OS X El Capitan if you wish to continue using your CardScan scanner with your Mac computer.

    • How do I print selected records in CardScan?

      Choose Open from the File menu in CardScan. Select your CardScan database, and choose Open. Click on one of the records you wish to print one time, to highlight it. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and single-click on other entries you wish to select. Choose Print from the File menu and follow the instructions in the Print Wizard.

    • Can I print the back of a scanned business card in CardScan?

      Unfortunately, no. You can print the front of your business card but cannot print the back. If you wish to print the back of the card in CardScan, you would have to re-scan the back of your business card as a new record.

    • The CardScan Detect Cards Automatically feature slows down my laptop computer. How can I resolve this?

      Open CardScan, click Edit and select Preferences . Click on Scan and uncheck Detect Cards Automatically. Click OK.

    • Start the CardScan program. Choose Save As from the File menu in CardScan. Give the file a name. Click on Save. Click on the Windows Start Button. Choose Programs. Choose PalmPilot Conduit Setup or CardScan Conduit for PalmPilot from the CardScan menu. Choose Enable. Click on Browse. Locate the file that you saved. The default location is C:\Program Files\Corex\CardScan. Double click on the file you saved. Click on Ok.

    • How do I disable the CardScan Conduit for PalmPilot?

      Click on your Windows Start button. Choose Programs. Choose CardScan. Choose PalmPilot Conduit Setup or CardScan Conduit for PalmPilot. Click on Disable. Click on OK.

    • How do I clear all the contact data in the Palm organizer handheld address book?

      Run the CardScan program. Choose New from the File menu in CardScan. Choose Save As from the File menu in CardScan. Give this file the name Blank. Click on Save. Click on your Windows Start Button. Choose Programs.Choose CardScan. Choose PalmPilot Conduit Setup or Conduit for PalmPilot. Click on Browse. Search for and double click on the file named Blank.cdb. Select a Two-Way Synchronization. (In CardScan version 3.0.6 or later, this option will be listed in the Advanced or Synchronization section). Click on Ok. Place your PalmPilot in its cradle, and HotSync. You will begin to see the address information appear in CardScan. Once this has completed, bring up the CardScan program, and click on any one of the entries. Choose Select All from the Edit menu. Choose Delete from the Card menu. Your entries in CardScan will have been deleted. HotSync your PalmPilot, and your Address Book will have been cleared.

    • How can I Drag and Drop Contacts (vCards) into CardScan?

      Open CardScan and the other application, and size the windows to see both simultaneously. Open a CardScan file in List view. In the other application, click the contact to copy and hold the button down until the cursor changes shape. Drag the contact on to the CardScan window and release the mouse button. The new contact appears in the List and Contact List.

    • How can I drag and drop text into CardScan?

      If another application supports drag-and-drop, you can drag and drop text into selected fields of a CardScan contact. Open CardScan and the other application, and size the windows so they are both visible. In the other application, highlight the text to drag and drop. Press the mouse button and drag the highlighted text to the CardScan window, then release the mouse button.

    • How can I drag and drop contacts into other applications?

      If the other application supports the vCard interchange format, you can drag and drop contacts from CardScan as follows: Open CardScan and the other application. Size the windows so they are both visible. Make sure your CardScan file is displayed in List view. Click a contact and press the mouse button until the cursor changes shape. Drag the contact to the other application and release the mouse button. The contact information appears in the correct fields of a new contact.

    • How do I configure synchronization with ACT! 4.0 or later

      In CardScan, click on File, highlight Data Exchange and click on CardScan Synchronization. If the Data Exchange Wizard appears, check No, I want to Synchronize and click OK. Press the Configure button in the CardScan Synchronization window. SelectACT! 4.0 or Later under Select Application. Click the Browse button under CardScan File. Highlight the database you would like to Synchronize with and press Open. Click the Browse button under ACT! Database. Highlight the ACT! database you'd like to Synchronize with and press Open. In the Configure Synchronization window press the OK button to save the configuration. Click the Synchronize button to combine the data between CardScan and ACT!
