What is CardScan Address Fixer?
The CardScan Address Fixer checks United States addresses against the US Postal Service database, corrects errors and adds ZIP + 4 for faster mail delivery. CardScan Address Fixer is available in the Tools menu of CardScan 9.
How do I print selected records in CardScan?
Choose Open from the File menu in CardScan. Select your CardScan database, and choose Open. Click on one of the records you wish to print one time, to highlight it. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and single-click on other entries you wish to select. Choose Print from the File menu and follow the instructions in the Print Wizard.
Can I print the back of a scanned business card in CardScan?
Unfortunately, no. You can print the front of your business card but cannot print the back. If you wish to print the back of the card in CardScan, you would have to re-scan the back of your business card as a new record.
How do I disable the CardScan Conduit for PalmPilot?

How do I configure synchronization with ACT! 4.0 or later
In CardScan, click on File, highlight Data Exchange and click on CardScan Synchronization. If the Data Exchange Wizard appears, check No, I want to Synchronize and click OK. Press the Configure button in the CardScan Synchronization window. Select ACT! 4.0 or Later under Select Application. Click the Browse button under CardScan File. Highlight the database you would like to Synchronize with and press Open. Click the Browse button under ACT! Database. Highlight the ACT! database you'd like to Synchronize with and press Open. In the Configure Synchronization window press the OK button to save the configuration. Click the Synchronize button to combine the data between CardScan and ACT!
How do you categorize multiple contacts in CardScan?
In list view, select the contacts to place in the same category. Use Shift + click to select a series of contacts. Use Ctrl + click to select non-sequential contacts. Choose Categories and click on the Assign option or press Ctrl + r . The Assign Categories dialog will appear. Select categories by clicking their checkboxes. Click OK to assign the selected categories and close the Assign Categories window.
How do I categorize a contact in CardScan?
To assign categories to one contact: Display the contact in Edit or Summary view. Click the Categories tab to display all categories. Check off each category to be assigned to the contact. For example, assign categories Business and Associate. CardScan indicates the assigned categories by displaying their names above the list. You can categorize a contact in List view, by selecting it and choosing Categories Assign. Assign the same category to multiple contacts.
The scanned image is a CardScan proprietary format, which cannot be used by any other program. However, in CardScan v8, you can save a card image by selecting the contact you want, going to the Card menu and selecting Save Image As to save the card imageas a Windows Bitmap or JPEG file.
