Not The Dymo of Old
Having used a much older Dymo embossing label maker in the past, I decided to purchase a new one for myself as I was happy with the performance of the older model. What a disappointment this was. This new model can only handle 3/8 inch tape. The older model could handle both 3/8 and 1/2 inch tapes. This new model only comes with one wheel. The older model came with three wheels. This new model has terrible letter alignment and spacing. The older model had much better letter alignment and spacing. I get that embossing labeling is a tiny market these days, but Dymo clearly doesn't care a bit about their customers, or the quality of their product. You're getting much less for much more money, and the quality has dropped to zero. Quite sad really.

I label everything!
I can’t get enough of my Office-Mate II Tapewriter. It is so perfect for right now being that we are having to do distant learning here at home with my son. It’s really easy to use and it comes with extra rolls of tape for all your label needs. I label bins with school supplies to make it easy for my son to find things. And even label random things around the house as site words for learning. The Office-Mate II Tapewriter can can be used any where like home or office. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

Haven’t seen them in years!
I remember these as a kid! Didn’t know that they even still made this product!!! I think that the office mate 2 tapewriter works amazingly and I’m so that I had a chance to get this product!!! I love this .

Perfect for my organizational obsession!
I’ve labeled ALL the things with this tool. It is easy to use, just turn the dial to the letter you want and squeeze. When it is time to cut it don’t forget to turn the knob to leave you some excess or you’ll cut the last part of your word off. I did that a few times. But I’ve labeled all the snack bins in my pantry, and all my daughters toy cubbies.

Easy to make and cute labels!
This makes adorable embossed labels! The Tapewriter was very easy to use and the labels it puts out are perfect for quick simple labels that will last. They have a great "stickiness" level - they haven't come off of anything I put them on yet and when I wanted to move or remove them I was able to easily. Label maker itself feels sturdy and well made.
A few tips for your first time - put a space before and after the words, and squeeze the handle firmly to emboss the letters but it really doesn't require all that much pressure and you get used to it very quickly.

OFFICE MATE TAPE WRITER
The Dymo Office Mate 11, is a convenient product to utilize when you need to organize your life, the embosser is super easy to load in just three easy steps, the tape comes included with the embosser. The embosser fits easily in your hand and is super easy to emboss the letters into words. I have used it to label many things i n our home and garage it saves so much time not having to search for things, in totes and boxes.

Works great!
I received this a short while ago and its wonderful. I like how its classic but usef, and the fact that you don't need batteries for it makes it a quick go to when you need a label done. Its small and easy to store and with no batteries needed works whenever you want!

Easy to use and durable.
I love that this is not complicated to use. It’s simple yet durable. I didn’t want one that relied on batteries and did other options. I just needed a label maker that would last a long time and easy to use. This is perfect!
