Battery doesn’t last.
Bought at the beginning of 2004, worked great. Battery can’t hold a charge keeps stating it needs to be charged over and over again

outdated product.
the only positive thing is, it makes labels i need and the tapes are easy to find if you need new ones.
- still using USB A-B connector, no USB-C charger, (EU LAW!)
- software is outdated and last updates in 2018, installation gives errors
- can't be used without battery.
- label before and after leaves to much white. waste of tape and money
- changing the font size on the device is not very easy. (if at all possible)

Reliable workhorse
We have been using for years for our medical chart endtabs. Clear and easy to read letters and quality tape sticks to the charts yet easy to remove and replace when needed (better than the alphanumeric medical chart tabs we also use that either stick forever or fall off and need to be taped back on!). Can't even say how many years we've had this but we keep a stock of label inks in one drawer and have thousands of patients - same dymo printer.

False advertising
The images on dymo.com are just fake photoshop renderings. They show a high-resolution black-on-white screen, for example, but in fact it's a low-resolution gray-on-green screen. The buttons and frame also look different than they do in person, or in third-party reviews. Don't buy a product based on a lie.
I would say go see one in person, but good luck finding any store which has one of these in stock.

Short lifespan
The label printer is great for a period of time, our battery died, and it seems like a replacement is hard to find, the products it self says 12v DC 500 mA but the replacement says 7,4 Vdc. wouldnt purchase a rechargeable one again.

Ok Product
I bought this 1 year ago for light usage and battery already not holding a charge or battery will show full, but unit dies. Print quality is fair. I'll keep and try purchasing a new battery to fix issue.

if you need a label maker, this is the only one
had it for a year. use it for everything. Love the variety of label color options and that it connects to my PC. Many options. labels don't peel off and stay legible.
