**BUYER BEWARE** Battery Issues
I was actually stupid enough to buy 2 of these pieces of garbage. The first time I thought the battery died in a ridiculously short period of time because of something I did. Nope the second one died within a year as well. I did everything suggested in all of the posts. Nope another dead battery and another useless unit. Right now, you cant even buy the replacement battery, Now I have a full cartridge of tape and no machine to use it on. I'd rather not receive a "sorry our product is stupid" message from a Dymo employee. I would much rather have a solution. I will never buy another Dymo product again. Frustrating piece of crap.

DYMO Label Light left me crying in anger!
Worst experience ever. Don’t buy this useless product! It has been so frustrating. Nothing is true! Plug and play are false. Nothing plays on every different unit! It dosen’t work at all on neither laptop, stationary or tablet.
I tried downloading the software manually many different times, and I didn’t even come close on any device. Everything is a lie. This product confirms that DYMO has lost it. Don’t fall for it! They only wants to sell the last of their stock, and have already pulled the plug long ago.
Very dissapointed to experience this slap in the face, while they only laugh at you for spending your money on pure frustration.

Once the battery goes bad, the unit cannot be used
I feel ripped off. I purchased 3 of these for 3 locations. When the internal battery dies, the unit cannot print. Even when plugged in, I cannot use the unit until I replace the battery.

Read if you have battery issues
Just writing this review to clear the air: if your rechargable battery ran out, it's most likely because the USB plug you use doesn't have enough power to charge it. Simply plug the USB cable to a cell phone charger or other port that has enough power. Once charging, the status light flashes 3 times on, then pauses and repeats.

Battery depleted = need to buy LabelManager
Once the battery is depleted, you might as well throw away the entire device, since a replacement battery is priced near the price of the initial device. The device will not work without the battery, even if it is plugged in.
The lifetime of the battery is low. It will not charge, even if the remaining capacity should lend itself to charging.

Same problem as everyone else
Battery stopped working, same problem as everyone else. Whenever I try to print a label it says need charging. Honestly Dymo should pay back everyone that wasted their money on this, it's obviously a known problem and a new battery is expensive.

Once battery dies, so does the machine
The battery is not able to charge it on USB powered. I've checked the battery and it's charged. I've tried in multiple PCs. I've cleaned the battery. Still doesn't charges. And the price for new battery is ridiculous.

Battery lasts 1.5yrs, then needs replacement
The battery lasted about 1.5 years and is now dead.
I must buy a new battery for about $25-$30 from questionable sources.
Yes DYMO DOES NOT SELL REPLACEMENT BATTERIES. Ridiculous.
