450 Label WriterThe 450 Label Writer is an excellent printer and is time saving for printing address labels, badges and file folders labels. The 450 Label Writer is very compact (5"x7 1/2") takes up very little space and fits nicely on a desk. The 450 Label Writer does not require ink or toner, which is great, as you don't have to worry about running out of ink or toner in the middle of a project and prints approximately fifty labels per minute therefore saving time and money.
Can use software to create labels, badges, etc. for Microsoft Word, Excel, Quick Books, and Outlooks. All labels are clear when you use the 450 Label Writer.

Best Label Maker!!I wanted to write this review because this label maker has become a must have in my work routine. I prepare multiple mailings every day and this label maker has make the process so much easier! I use a Mac for my work and this was very easy to install once I located the software online. The software is very user friendly. Labels are very easy to load. They print clear, fast, and are always straight! You also never need to add any kind of ink cartridge to this label maker, just labels! It never needs ink or toner! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who prepares mailings on a regular basis!

Lousy deviceI replaced my original device with this load of rubbish. I cannot get it to work in any shape or form. My last one was so easy. I created an address book and printed the labels or I simply typed a new address. This load of garbage is so complicated and simply does not work!!!!!"" I have asked for help, no answer. I have looked for guides and all they give is how to load the label which any fool can do. I have looked at videos and they bear no relation whatsoever to the the program. So well done Dymo this is rubbish!!!!

Worked Great until...This printer worked great until they updated the software and it is no longer compatible. Their answer? Buy the 'new' printer thats twice the price and will only work with expensive labels.

DYMO FIX THIS MACHINEWe have had this device for several years and everytime there's an update, the label printer goes haywire. There are constantly issues with printing blank labels, misaligned labels, smudged labels, etc. Oh and if you try to use the 'Help' it leads to a page that doesn't exist. Useless!! So much time and labels have been wasted trying to figure out this machine

Its good when it works, but that's half the time!I have had the Dymo 450 for a couple of years now. Its just that we dont use it much. However since my wife started her new retail business we thought we would re-start the unit and loaded the software Dymo connect to her Mac Pro. Heres where the puzzle starts. It prints a few labels and then stops printing saying there is an error - label empty when in fact there is a whole spool there. switch off/switch on sometimes it comes back on, and sometimes we have to reinstall the whole software to get the thing to reset back to normal operation. Its honestly a pain. I dont think anything is wrong with the machine, but some serious issue in the software to interface with other devices
