Awful software!Great device, software is a total loss. The previous software was great, easy and to the point. This recent software if more like a print suite for Cricut. Printer not even recognized any longer, regardless of how many times website software is reinstalled. Drivers? lol good luck with that. I wish I physically had the software on a disc so I could set it afire. Software must have been written by FB dropouts or some defunct app-mill. Hate to see such a great name be ruined by such shoddy programming. If you can improve program design, leave it alone till you can put out an actual useful tool. Had a great product and have since bricked it due to poor software. I hope someone loses their position of this oversight.

Great printer, be sure to use Dymo Label v8.7.4We've had this printer in use for years, and are very pleased with it. When changing the PC, we downloaded the Dymo Connect software. This is horrible compared to the previous software we used. The software seems to start up on its own if we leave the computer. Worse, it caused a lot slower label output print speed and no possibility to review the stored labels on the left side of the application. Thank god we found the good old Dymo Label v8.7.4 on your download page, it saved us buying a new product from a different vendor. Our product rating is for the software, the printer is excellent.

DYMO LABELWRITER 450 Machine great ! but software? This machine was a godsend when we purchased it and still is if it would work on the new software upgrade . I always used the original driver V8 and it worked fine , however recently it just gives me a blank screen . i cant find my original driver disc that came with it and I find Dymo Connect a horrible user interface , plus all our business labels are stored on the original Dymo V8 . I'm using Windows 10 and I need to get the old driver back but cant seem to find it anywhere just a list of the newest drivers . HELP !!!!!!!!!! ASAP!!!!!!!!

The Printer is Great. The Software is NotWe have Five of these. Everyone likes it. It makes our jobs easier... EXCEPT!!!
The software is horrible. It keeps resetting the size of the type, and the format cannot be locked down despite a setting to that effect. You have to format before you do anything else. You cannot make changes to any formatting on-the-fly.
Worse, reinstalling the software does nothing to improve matters. You need to reset all your presets from memory before you can use it.

Intelligent Mail Barcode OptionUpgraded to Windows 11 and had to download the latest Demo Connect for my LabelWriter 450 Turbo. Transferred all my labels that were backed up and when I opened my mailing address the Intelligent Mail Barcode was not available. Why is this barcode no longer an option? Before adding this barcode the USPS would end up mailing my letter back to the sender and not to the recipient. Using the label 30256 the USPS address scan would sometimes read the return address thus the use of the barcode eliminates their mistake. This rating is for the software to utilize the printer only.

Love Dymo LabelWriter, but Dymo Connect -Not!In my office I've used Dymo LabelWriters for decades...however, the newer Dymo Connect software for Windows 11, is not ready for primetime, based on past Dymo software. The user experience is like having a hot rod printer and weak software that's not user-friendly. Dymo please mirror the past legacy software's easy user interface, then duplicate it for Dymo Connect. Heck, Dymo you might sell more labels and printers, by making it quicker and easier to use... Just some thoughts from a loyal customer and user.

So Many IssuesSuch a shoddy program. When the printer actually works... it's great. Prints quickly. But once in awhile it glitches, crashes, and now it won't find my printer no matter what I do. Reinstalling does nothing. I didn't do anything different to suddenly have these problems. Usually I just plug the device into my pc and it's able to print right away. Now the software is saying it's connected to a totally different printer that I don't even own. How does this happen? Also there's no updated download on the site for Windows 11 so I'm wondering if there's a connection there to my issues? I am not tech savvy and it's incredibly frustrating trying to figure this out for our business.
