Rated 1 out of 5 by jjones from Good printer. Horrible software I've used DYMO Label Software for years. Then, I made the mistake of cutting over to the new Connect Software. Yes - a BIG mistake. Where the heck did all my labels go?! Over a 100 labels, and this software doesn't even have the decency to import from the old package!!! The old stuff was intuitive and easy to use. This new stuff is so bad that I have no choice but to scrape it off the bottom of my shoe and go back to the old software. The printer itself is great, but the software kills it. It may be time to go with a different brand of label maker. DYMO should be ashamed of this crap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JFILI from Printer is printing labels of lines and blanks All of a sudden my Dymo 450 Twin Turbo has started feeding through blank labels after I have printed one label, causing me to throw out many labels. Today, the right side, which has smaller labels, just started printing of these lined labels and would not stop. I had to open the cover and rip the labels so they would stop. Your printers use to be my favorite peripheral device, but what is happening now is very frustrating. I would have rated this printer a 5 in the past, but now it seems to have a brain of its own. Labels are too expensive for this to be happening constantly. If you can tell me how to correct this problem, I'll go back to highly recommending it, but can't now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hans from A One-Great Office Product Like others here, I have been using Dymo label printers for decades. I've depended on them for all kinds of labels and used mine almost daily. But starting a few months ago, the printers stopped working. I thought it was a mechanical issue and spent about $250 on a replacement...only to discover that it had the same problems and that it was apparently software issue. I now own three, all useless. I am still trying to find a way to make them work and that's how I found this site

Rated 1 out of 5 by pmg1 from Buggy Software! Have had several problems like the address correction suddenly stopped working a while back. Then it started to print three to six blank labels when I printed a single label. Now I just heard the printer turn on by itself (I was in another room) and by the time I got to the printer to check on it it had printed the entire roll of labels with thin horizontal and vertical lines. What has happened to this once fine company?

The problem is when windows 10 was updated recently I have had nothing but issues. There has been no support for this issue from the manufacture I don't think this will change. Dymo Framework issue is the issue that I continually have.

I can add the printer just fine in Windows, I can print from Microsoft Word but none of the Dymo Connect software works. It sees the printer (twice!), it claims to print but nothing works. Additionally, in every version of Dymo connect, the "change label size" button does nothing, so you are stuck with the generic tiny address label.

Rated 1 out of 5 by FredF from What a clunker Have owned multiple Dymo printers over the years. This is the latest, but every time I go to print, it is "offline". Replaced the USB cable, but that doesn't help. Unplug power cord and plug it back in - immediately started spewing labels, some blank, some not, and since I was messing with the power cord (on the bottom) I was holding the printer, so the labels fed back into the feeder, wrapping up like a loose shirt in the power take off of a tractor. Once that got unclogged and tried to reload the labels, it decided to just start feeding blank labels for a while. Managed to catch them and pull them back in, only to release the release lever and have it do it all again. So went looking for answers on Dymo - oh, new software? Great, let's try that. Hmm, how convenient, it doesn't know how to read the old address book, so you have to manually export to NON-Dymo format to reimport into the new software. Which apparently does just about everything under the sun...except just print a label. I did see an option to print the entire imported file, but really no indication if it would print any of them correctly - just a bunch of fields in a CSV file. So back to the old software, which it seems is the best option. Sadly, this is an entire exercise in resurrecting the perpetually offline printer every time I need to print a label. This is about the farthest from convenient or even useful I've ever seen. I know the state of software engineering is in shambles and the bar for "release version" is basically if it doesn't cause any fatalities it's good to go. Thanks for your contributions to the the pile of useless software we have to choose from when we feel like wasting a few hours of precious life when we want to mail a letter.
