LOVE my perfect labelmaker
I have had my nifty label maker for over 20 years and love it. Once you get the hang of the upper buttons (it isn’t rocket science - read the manual, which is available online here if you lost the one that came with your machine) wish the metallic tape was still available in pink and blue, as I did a lot of color coding with it. I have used mine constantly labelling anything that was going places with us - personal property, camera gear and such, as well as lots around the house - file folders, spice jars, bead collection, shop tools and toolchest drawers and more. Tend to use at least 3-5 rolls of tape per year, or more. After all the use I need a new ink cartridge……

Not really happy.
I purchased one of these handheld units a couple of months ago with some additional tape rolls (I later discovered these were the paper type), I proceeded to label a number of items for myself and another family member, only to discover a few weeks later that all of the tape has discoloured- they new look a dirty faded yellow? I’m looking to return the unit & buy another brand labeller.

Batteries only now
Bought one recently and very disheartened to see that it no longer can operate with a mains adaptor.
Had one for almost 20 years, but accidentally broke it. It was great. Loved it. Even purchased an adapter so that it was better for the environment.
Unfortunately I found after I purchased it (sealed in packaging) it now only operates on batteries.
It's never been used, it will never be used, and it's going in the rubbish because it will only work with very environmentally unfriendly batteries.
Wasted my money.

Brand new - tape jam
I bought this installed brand new batteries, printed 2 labels fine, but now says “Tape Jam.” I’ve ensured that there is no physical jam, the batteries are brand new, and I tried a factory reset. Still won’t work. Going to see if I can return it to Target. If not, I basically just lit $25 on fire.

Low Battery error
Worked for a couple weeks then started getting a low battery error even though it hadn't been used much. Eventually stopped printing altogether, have put in brand new batteries and factory reset but the problem persists.

Great Product until Screen went out.
I really love the ease of use on this label maker “LetraTag LT-100H”. There are definitely more options I’d like for the font styles.
However now my screen isn’t displaying the entire text. It now shows a couple of clear/blank lines running horizontally through the screen. So now I cannot tell what I am typing.
Regarding the reviews on the printer jam or print failure, I’ve never encountered that problem and have printed about 4 cartridges worth of labels.
Hopefully this is fixable. I am curious about the LetraTag devices that have the larger keyboard or one that hooks up to an app to my iPhone or a program for the Mac Computers. The attached photo is a picture of my display that says “DYMO”. I only am rating it Poor because I cannot use this product any more because I cannot tell what I am typing nor see what options I am selecting when wanting to change the settings or formatting.

Well made label maker.
We've had this little machine for about fifteen years. We used it in our small business and even our grandchildren have used it. The only problem we ever had was occasional paper jams. Usually taking the cartridge out, cleaning it and putting it back in will fix it. I would think that is just normal maintenance . Very happy with it.

Pretty good… until it isn’t
I purchased a Letratag machine several years ago at a big box retailer. I liked the features such as two lines of text on the tape, ease of use and affordable tape in either plastic or paper. Recently the tape cartridges have become more expensive. I used the machine a few days ago, but today the machine will not power up at all today even with fresh batteries which test good. Trouble shooting measures didn’t help. I’ve used about a total of three tape cartridges and feel the machine should have lasted longer.
