Rated 1 out of 5 by from No auto length feature on the machine I bought this rhino 6000+ for two months, because it's supposed to be better than the 6000, but it has no AUTO length option for labels on the printer options. You can print with AUTO length ONLY using a PC or laptop with the RHINO software. So if you want to print labels and you don't have your PC with you on the site, it will be very difficult to print different text length labels. Conclusion is that the AUTO function went off so DYMO can sell more labels (because of useless unprinted label) and to get you more stressed for finding the correct label size for printing. I've called in for support and still no answer about a UPDATE regarding this function that doesn't exist no more...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth Buying We purchased a dozen of these for our shop. A little over a year later and the hold-down clip has broke on several of them. You can see from the other reviews that this is a common problem with them. The response from Dymo would seem to suggest that they are aware of the failure of their product and a willing to correct the issue. When you contact them, they will tell you that they have no repair options and if it is within the warrantee period and you have all the proof of purchase, then they will deal with it. Purchase the old 5200.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from plastic internals need upgrading I pushed the cartridge eject button and the rear cartridge retaining clip didn't disengage and literally got ripped off it's little plastic anchor somewhere inside. I was able to fish it out but the labeler is junk now since tape cartridges won't stay in. Going to call for a warranty replacement since my previous 5200 lasted a good 8 years and this was probably a fluke....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from used to be great unit. not sure about the quality I bought mine about 9 months ago as a replaicement for on older one. I didn't use it for a couple of years and the batterie leaked and I had to purchase a new one, used it for an about a dossen labels and the retaining clip stopped working. will not keep a label cartridge so I have a $350 paper weight a $500 in useless tape unless I purchase another

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Professional Look Every Time I can do more with this label maker than I’ve ever been able to do before. As soon as I got it I hooked it up to my Windows laptop, and was able to just type what I wanted and then print it right then. It takes a little learning of the UI to get it down, but once you do the versatility is wonderful. I can now label Ethernet cables, patch panels, coax runs, etc. in a professional manner, and labeling (or heat-shrinking a cable ID before putting a termination on it) looks properly sorted. Kinda pricey but buy once, cry once.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cartrigde holder broken Overall performance is good. But it makes a lot waste during cutting labels. As a result our team needs scissors to cut blank parts of the labels. Also after 3 months of use internal plastic part that holds cartridge has broken. the only workaound is to put something tht can press the cartridge to the printer body.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good We had a DYMO XTL300 it worked great printed good, but the door sensor broke DYMO didn't make that model anymore and sent us the 6000+. It is not a plus I give it a minus. The print out for the laminated cable wrap is not very clear and it will not print three lines. The XTL300 had individual stickers for the wire wrap which is very nice. The 6000+ cuts each label or you have to. This is a mess when you have a lot of cables to label.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've had this for years and it still works great! I've used this for almost everything it does. I've never connected it to a computer, but it's always done exactly what I needed. The heatshrink tubing printing feature is nice as well. It's held up great over the years. The case is very rugged and worth it for sure.
