At DYMO®, we’re committed to making more responsible choices—starting with how we source materials and reduce waste in our packaging. While we’re continuously working to improve, our current efforts focus on minimizing environmental impact where we can, including more thoughtful packaging design and labeling solutions. FSC™ “Mix” Certified Paper: Most of DYMO®’s paper labels are made from paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC™). This certification ensures that the paper comes from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources, helping to prevent deforestation.
Small actions can add up to real change. That’s why DYMO® focuses on practical ways to reduce waste and make smarter use of materials and energy where it counts most. From using recycled plastics and FSC™-certified paper to improving how we design, package, and produce our label solutions, every step is about using resources more responsibly. It’s not about overnight transformation — it’s about steady progress, clear choices, and making each label do a bit more with a bit less.
These practices reflect our effort to reduce environmental impact in areas we can influence today, while continuing to provide reliable labeling solutions.
These production efforts help to ensure that DYMO® label products are made as sustainably as possible while still meeting the high standards our customers expect.
DYMO® is committed to transparency in our sustainability efforts. We back every initiative—from using recycled materials to reducing factory energy consumption—with measurable results, not just promises. As part of Newell Brands, we align with corporate sustainability goals and continuously look for new ways to improve our environmental performance.
As part of Newell Brands, DYMO® benefits from a broader corporate commitment to sustainability. Newell Brands has achieved a 38% cumulative reduction in global manufacturing-related greenhouse gas emissions and has shifted 18% of its manufacturing sites' electricity to renewable energy, progressing toward a goal of 30% by 2030. This alignment enhances Newell’s dedication to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
1 LED lighting reduces energy consumption by using up to 80% less electricity than traditional incandescent bulbs. This efficiency significantly lowers carbon emissions, especially when widely adopted. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, widespread use of LED lighting could save hundreds of millions of tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
