Works great for my needs!
This dymo label maker is perfect for what I need. It’s easy to use - I didn’t even really need to read the instructions. I wish the screen were easier to read in certain lighting, but overall it’s OK. It has a lot of different options and functions that could be useful for just about any labeling situation. The backing is easy to peel off and the labels stick really well, too. I try to do a bunch of labels at one time with spaces in between each word rather than separate labels for each one in order to save on tape. It takes a lot of batteries but it’s nice that it’s cordless. Works great!

Who knew a label maker could be the jump off to so much organization! The Dymo Labelmaker 160 is easy to operate straight out of the package. The Quick Start guide clearly explains how to load the cassette and batteries. Beyond that, you simply use the computer format keyboard to type your label. Rather use symbols? No problem! There are hundreds preloaded! You can also format the font quickly with just a touch! We have promptly labeled a ton of storage making it a snap to know what is inside. Back to school will be a snap, no ordering labels this year! Batteries (6 AAs) have lasted ages! Would highly recommend!

great product
picked this up to make labels for wires on engines i replace so that i could mark the wires and stuff, makes the job a bit easier when you can just look at a tag and know where it plugs in, took me a while to find the sticker labels for it but after finding them and learning how to use the label maker it really done a great job, now if i can keep the kids away from it as they like to make their own name tags and stickers now, pretty great product, i just wish it would have shipped with at least a roll of paper or labels so i would have known in advance to order that seperately. i would recommend this to anyone looking for a very good label maker, i have lots of ideas for uses for it.

This wonderful portable label maker is all I have been looking for. It is of great quality. Unique and stylish. Battery or AC adapter operated.
I love to keep everything organizer and the only way I can do that it is to create my own labels so I can find stuff easier. This is an easy and fast way to create my labels. This wonderful label maker has a computer style keyboard. Love that I can create my unique design choosing from over 20 format text and over 200 symbols and clip art images. Also love the big screen.
Overall, this is a great label maker. Very easy to operate. Highly recommended.

Cool label maker
We received our DYMO label maker just in time for us to organize out kitchen which made things a lot simpler and quicker to find. My family and I had so much fun organizing not only the kitchen but our own personal items. It does come with a label roll, you'll need 6 AA batteries for it, yes I know quite a few but it's so worth it. Might just take it to my job to label all my items. It's very simple to use just turn it on and type in the item or times you'll like to label and that's about it.

Great Product!
This is a really great product from a high quality manufacturer. I have used a similar model at work for several years and has always worked without fail. Only thing I question is the product does run on batteries. However it does have a port for an AC adapter, but it does not come with a cord, nor does it mention in the instructions. A little clarity on this would be great!

Jam’s like crazy!
I have had this for a little while now and I almost can’t stand to use it. I wanted to use it to label stuff around my house to help my 4 year old learn how to read. It worked perfectly the first few time, but after that it started to jam. Once I fixed it it worked one more time and now every time it jams. It will print but instead of it coming out it just crinkles up inside the machine.

Worked a couple of times then said jammed
Keeps saying it's jammed. I've tried different cartridges, different new batteries, even turning the little driver stub like I read about in a couple different forums. Still says jammed. and yes, they were official Dymo cartridges.
