550 Turbo SUCKS!
I hardly ever give 1 star reviews. I must say though, I am severely disappointed with this product. First and foremost, I was led to believe the labelwriter 550 turbo is capable of printing postage, it isn’t. Secondly, you can’t use generic label rolls not to mention the fact that every time I go to print something, it tells me “labels not recognized” even though it has DYMO LABELS IN IT! It will NOT stay connected to my network and will quit mid print of a large amount of labels.

I don’t run a business, but these DYMO LabelWriter Shipping Labels have been perfect for handling my returns! The labels are super easy to print, and the quality is excellent. They stick securely to any package, so I never have to worry about them coming off during the return process. The 1-roll pack of 250 labels is a great value and lasts a long time, which is perfect for my occasional returns. The printing is clear and professional, making the whole return process smoother. I highly recommend these labels for anyone who frequently returns items—it makes everything so much easier!

Recurring Revenue generator for Dymo
Works good enough.
Returing because of need to use "Genuine" Dymo lables. I understand that there might be issues with cheaper 3rd party labels, but do not like that I am locked inot Dymo and Dymo's inflated prices. Seems like since they can't get you on the ink they are gonna get you on the lables.

Totally Frustrating
Just installed this 450 Turbo with the labels that were included in the box, the 2 5/16" x 4" Shipping labels. The 450 will not accept these labels as the previous reviewer indicated. the DYMO Item # 30256 is listed in the advanced settings of the DYMO printer as I found in the help section but it will not let me select it as the label.

Stands up to the tests of time!
I live in a fairly autonomous, do-ocratic collective household, and labels are just a way of life when running a home with 14 spirited adults all having differing schedules. We have had a DYMO LabelWriter Duo label printer which uses this type of adhesive label on a spool, as well as other longer, shorter, bigger and smaller label stock too. I am pleased to say this little workhorse has been cranking out labels for a good 10 years or more, and never makes a fuss. Basic maintenance of the device is light, infrequent tasks

Pretty darn good!
Pros:
• User-friendly software: The included software is intuitive and well-organized, making label design and printing effortless—even for those who aren’t tech-savvy.
• Durable build: The device feels sturdy and well-constructed, giving confidence in its longevity.
• High-quality prints: Labels come out crisp, clear, and professional-looking, suitable for a variety of applications.
Cons:
• Occasional jams: While infrequent, label jams do happen, which can be a bit frustrating but manageable.
• Proprietary labels: The inability to use third-party labels is a drawback, especially given the price of official Dymo cartridges. More flexibility would be a welcome improvement.
Overall:
Despite a few minor inconveniences, the Dymo LabelWriter 550 has become my go-to label maker. Its ease of use, reliable performance, and sharp print quality make up for the occasional hiccups. While wireless connectivity would make it even better, I’d still rate it a solid 9/10.

Compatible labels
The dymo labels fit perfectly in the dymo label writer. The pages tear easily and peel off and stick well to packages and paper. The print is clear on the labels without any smudging. For someone that ships items or to create a label this is a nice tool to have. I received this as a gift for my honest review.

You cant have one without the other
This is goes perfectly with the DYMO label printer. It has great compatibility and durability. I also like the sleek look and the adhesive strength. I definitely recommend this product for all businesses that require shipping labels.
